Octoberfest Bistro 108

It’s Oktoberfest at the Bistro!!!  This week we will be featuring traditional German dishes Susan learned to cook when she lived in Germany. Mike has brought in some supportive beers…Shiner Hefeweizen and a St Pauly Girl.

For Dinner Tuesday through Saturday we will feature…
Munich Bratwurst…grilled and served with German potatoes and sauerkraut cooked with onions and bacon in white wine
Jaeger Schnitzel…veal schnitzel in a crisp cracker crust pan sautéed and topped with a sour cream mushroom sauce
Zigeuner Schnitzel...veal schnitzel in a crisp cracker crust, pan sautéed and topped with a rich veal demi glace with sautéed peppers, onions and a few red pepper flakes
Rouladen…fork tender…thinly sliced eye of round filled with sautéed onion, bacon and dill pickle, rolled and baked in a wonderful mushroom gravy

……. Also… German Style Sauerkraut, Red Cabbage with apples, German Style Potatoes and German Style Noodles

THIS MENU WILL RUN CONSECUTIVELY WITH OUR REGULAR DINNER MENU

MUSIC ON WEDNESDAY!!!   Bill Passalacqua and the Ginn Sisters will be playing on the Patio from 6 to 9 pm.  He promises some good beer drinking songs!  So…guys put on your lederhosen and ladies your dirndl (translation shorts and flip-flops) and join us for a good time.
