Bistro 108 is proud to announce the formation of our newest additions to our wine list. A group of fine wines we discovered on our trip to Napa Valley, California. We have other wines we will be adding to this list and will plan a Reserve List Tasting Party sometime in the near future. So stay in touch.
Mike’s Special Reserve Wines
Mike’s Special Reserve Wines are available by the Bottle only
Girard Winery
2007 Girard Russian River Valley Chardonnay -- 45
The aroma/flavor profile includes: pear, Meyer lemon, plantains and lovely smoky clover honey notes.
2005 Girard Artistry -- 55
2005 Artistry is a proprietary blend of 5 Bordeaux-varietal grapes. The 2005 vintage is a brilliantly-colored, dark garnet wine with aromas of baked cherries, dark plum, lavender, cinnamon, allspice and freshly cut herbs. There are also hints of tobacco, leather and toasted pecan.
2006 Girard Cabernet Sauvignon -- 50
Superb black raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry notes intermixed with charcoal, acacia flowers, and mocha scents. Full-bodied with sweet, velvety tannins, superb concentration, and a long, layered finish.
St. Supery Winery
2004 St Supery Elu Napa Valley Red Meritage -- 70
Élu 2004 has aromas of rich, vibrant, focused sweet cherry and blackberry fruit. On the palate is a wealth of flavors and an elegant, silky mouth-feel.
2006 St Supery Virtu Napa Valley White Meritage -- 50
Virtú 2006 is refined and luscious with aromas of nectarines, peach and ripe cantaloupe. On the palate, the mouthwatering flavors of peaches and nectarines are joined by a subtle mineral quality.
2002 St Supery Napa Valley Merlot -- 45
2002 Merlot has deep, dark colors and aromas layered with blackberry, currants and toasty oak. The flavors pick up momentum showing blackberry, cherry, sage and a hint of creamy mocha.
2003 St. Supery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon -- 50
Luxurious, rich and concentrated with aromas of cherry, currant and blueberry these are just the start of this 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon. The harmonious flavors of black cherry, anise and plush cassis explode upon tasting.
Bistro 108 Wine Lovers Club
Once you have tried any of our fine wines at Bistro 108 and you find one or two (or more) you really like and would like to take a bottle (or case) home for sipping on the porch, watching the sun go down or for that very special occasion, we are proud to announce the Bistro 108 Wine Lovers Club. No membership, no dues, just good wine. I will be offering our wines at a very special price. You can order and pick up the wines at the Bistro for home consumption. Just as an example I have discovered another little wine that will soon show up on our regular wine list. We introduced it on our customers at our recent cooking class. It goes very well with the Roasted Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Chipotle Sauce. . . And the wine is Folie A Deux's 2005 Amador County Zinfandel. The price on the Bistro Wine list will be 28/bottle and if you want to order it to take home the price will be 15/bottle. Please Email me at info@bistro 108.com with how you want to pay for the wine, your phone number, what wine you would like to purchase and how many bottles you want to purchase. All orders will need to be prepaid. Please give me a week or two to get the wines for you.
Here are some wines I am offering for the rest of March. If you are interested in purchasing any of the following wines please email me with your order by March 18. Enjoy!
2005 Folie A Deux Amador County Zinfandel -- 15/Bottle
2007 Girard Russian River Valley Chardonnay -- 21.50/bottle
