Last Thursday's music on the patio was a great hit. The patio was packed for the music, the band was upbeat and entertaining and everyone had a great time. We are working on finding another equally entertaining group for August. Stay tuned for further information.
This Weeks Fresh Catch:
This weeks fresh catch is Japanese Sea Bass - Mero and wild caught Hawaiian Yellow Tail. I had the Yellow Tail last night for dinner and it is a firm fleshed fish with a delicate flavor. It is served with risotto and a citrus butter sauce. Excellent.
Bistro 108 Closed Saturday July 26:
The Bistro will be closed Saturday July 26. Susan and I will be in Austin at my son's wedding. Michael Wayne McCathern and Ambriel Nance will be wed in a small family ceremony in Austin. Congratulations Michael and Ambriel.

Bistro 108, at 108 S. Main, in La Grange is a really surprising find. With a menu comparable to a big city boutique restaurant, and very reasonable prices, the Bistro is worth a trip for a very pleasant dining experience. Travelers between Houston and Austin on Highway 71 should schedule their travel to include lunch in La Grange at the Bistro Tuesday through Sunday, or dinner Tuesday through Saturday. (TripAdvisor)
